What is TRP?

MUFG's Talent Recruitment Programme aims to prepare promising individuals to become future leaders of the organisation. We believe that a comprehensive training programme provides an end-to-end understanding of the organisation is essential for any aspiring leaders, and have tailored one that not only provides the necessary technical knowledge, but instils the positive work ethics that would help you become an all-rounded banker. Through the MUFG Talent Recruitment Programme, we will prepare you to become an enabler of your own career and to grow together in MUFG's journey to becoming the world's most trusted financial group.

What do you get from joining the MUFG Talent Recruitment Programme?

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge about banking through an intensive learning camp, which will cover areas such as credit, accounting, treasury, trade finance and risk.
  • Undergo a series of on-the-job training (OJT) that will provide you hands-on experience on all aspects of banking operations and first-hand insight on how a bank works.
  • Be equipped with the essential self-developmental skills and attitudes that are required in the professional world. Developmental modules you will go through include Insight Discovery Training, Business Etiquette, International Language and more.
  • Discover and develop your own leadership style and capabilities that will take you to the next level of your professional career.
  • Receive global exposure through OJT stints across MUFG’s global network or head office, delivered through the bank’s Three Months Intensive Programme (TIP), Global Acceleration Programme (GAP), International Assignment and various other overseas workshops.
  • Build a solid network of professional contacts across MUFG’s global network.


How long does the programme take?

16 months. The comprehensive programme is carried out in MUFG Jakarta Branch encompassing in-class training and OJT in front, middle, and operation areas to provide aspiring leaders with the confidence and skills to excel professionally and take the bank to new heights of success.


  • Fresh graduate with Bachelor Degree or Master Degree from reputable University with minimum GPA of 3.25 (out of 4.00) or equivalent.
  • Maximum age of 25-year-old (Bachelor Degree) and 27-year-old (Master Degree).
  • Experienced candidate with maximum 2 years of working experience is also encouraged to apply.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is compulsory.
  • Fluency in Japanese is an advantage.
  • Organisational experience and global exposure will also be pluses.
